xTAG®

xTAG Respiratory Viral Panel: Comprehensive. Reliable. Fast.

What does xTAG RVP test for?

In the United States, xTAG RVP tests for 12 different families and subtypes of respiratory viruses, representing the majority of clinically important viruses encountered in clinical practice and public health surveillance.

The above viruses accounted for more than 85% of all viruses observed in an analysis of over 1000 samples taken from patients with colds or flus at a major Canadian hospital.
